Caranavi is the biggest coffee region in Bolivia, known for its fertile soil and abundant water resources. It lies at the foothills of the Andes, with lots of virgin forest, wild animals like jaguars and howler monkeys, and numerous waterfalls. It is what is known as an "eco-hotspot," which makes it all the more important to work carefully and in harmony with nature.

This is exactly what the members of the Asocafé Cooperative have been doing: they process only ecologically grown coffee, which they obtain through close contact with farmers, their "socios." Through good times and bad, the associated coffee farmers are always able to sell their coffee cherries for a fair price.

These beans are responsibly sourced in partnership with Caraya Coffee.
